Here's a last minute cover for the fest! I started by chaining different pedals togther and playing around with the order (Kevin Parker of Tame Impala is known to frig around with that). I soon started playing some songs and this one seemed really fun to do. Lonerism is a great modern pysch album and this one is a favourite of mine off that. It's only one set of chords but what a progression! Since I couldn't possibly emulate the amazing drums on here, I isolated them from the original track.
Everything else you hear is recorded by me though. Sat on this for a little while and then finished it tonight. Enjoy...
Hagstrom Implala Guitar (for chords)
Squier Jazzmaster (for ending solo tracks)
Epiphone Viola Bass
Roland SH 201
Garageband Synth
Shure SM57 and 58
Fender Blues Junior Amp
Pedals: MXR Phaser, Strymon Deco, Boss Digital Delay, Boss Space Echo, Boss Blues Driver, ZVEX Fuzz Factory, JHS Octave Reverb, Boss Compressor/Sustainer
Excellent Keith. I think I actually have this album somewhere but I didn't take to it too much. Maybe I didn't listen enough and actually I think that is the case. You have showcased a great tune here. It's true some great changes in the chords. Very psych and floaty. Excellent stuff.
