This was a Mazzy Star Song Thought I would try something different
Tim
Wonderful Timn, I love the chorus here and it's amazing how well the I V IIm chord progression (or major IV variant) always works... we should do a mini festival with songs based on this progression...
- Knock on Heaven door
- Helpless
- etc,,,, ;)
yes, this is lovely. I really liked the intro and the vocals sound smashing good...
glad you can record again Tim! Mix is excellent too
I'm sitting in the darkness and listening to this.
The only thing that could make the moment better would be a glass of wine, or a shot of whiskey.
The only thing stopping me from doing that is the fact that i don't want to greet the day like Burt Reynolds does in the beginning of the Longest Yard.
So here i'm enjoying the song for what it's worth and that's a lot. So beautiful and full of emotion.
I'm ashamed o say that I don't know the original, but when I get a version like this I don't really need to.
This is stunning. Full of emotions and very well performed.
Well done Tim.
I am listening to this again... I really love that keyboard wow... the singing though is so great... flowin my soul with warmth..
I feel as though I m in heaven right here Tim
Very nice cover, Tim.
I do remember the original - I was a Mazzy Star fan back in their day. You definitely put your own stamp on it. Well done!
Beautifully covered, Tim. Great emotive vocals and I've always loved that chord progression since hearing Knocking On Heaven's Door. You play that harp so well too. Great job.
this works a treat Tim ....nice harp playing wish I could play so well
I don't know the song and I don't have to, because this sounds nice to me as it is.
Nice vocals and I really liked the harmonica.

Corné de Boer
Excellent performance! I'm not very familiar with Mazzy Star but from what I've heard I can tell you've put your own spin into this song which is very cool. Great vocals and harmonica!
