Title: Vox hollowbody guitar with built in digital modeling
Post by: des0free on November 02, 2023, 10:49:10 AM
Looks interesting: https://voxamps.com/product/giulietta-vga-3d/

Has both electric (magnetic) and acoustic piezo pickups and built in digital modeling with 18 different sounds ranging from acoustic and electric (clean and distortion), to banjo, sitar, resonator, 12-string sim, even synth sounds.

List price is $1099, but I spotted it on sale for $399 (new!) here:

I think I will give it a try (with option to return)...Ah, yes, another GAS attack...

Nice I traded my 335 for a variax years ago does the same thing the only problem is I would spend hours testing out the all sounds Play the song then think maybe it would be better with this modeled sound lol.  Nice looking guitar

"I honestly think this is my favorite guitar now.  The "acoustic guitar sims" are honestly not the best sounding, not totally realistic, when played thru PA speakers in isolation, but in a mix (played with a backing track), somehow I think some of them sound great. I also put it thru the TC Helicon "Acoustic Play" pedal, and I think it helps. And the guitar is pretty light, slightly short scale, plays pretty easy, and looks cool. Also has a built in tuner.
