A tribute to the wonderful Christine McVie. This track is a great little pop song off the Tusk album... should have been a bigger hit for them. I frigged with the arrgangment a decent amount to give a more "alt country" feel (I think a lot FM songs would tranlate very well into country rock early Wilco style!). All the electric parts (aside form one 12 string rhythm part) were done on my "new-ish" Hagstrom Impala guitar which I haven't used on a song yet. If you dont know about Hagstrom check them out, very cool guitars with lots of tonal options (brings on the twang on this track :)). I also added some mandolin and banjo on to this track for fun. All I can do on either is strummy chords but I think adds a nice element sometimes. Enjoy...

goodness gracious this is super good.
it does remind me of some of the early 70's country rock artists such as the Eagles sound. I agree Tusk was a great album and this is an excellent song. A fitting tribute to an amazing talent.
I will have to hear this a few more times but I can tell it is really super good... oh wait.. I already said that... ha!
You picked a good one and you did it excellent!
This is so shit hot.......amazing attention to detail.....
I'm constantly amazed by your talent and ability to cover great songs with such quality and attention to detail. The guitars are awesome - it actually sounds like Lindsey Buckingham is playing them. Outstanding stuff and a great tribute.
Fantastic. Guitars sound great and vocals too... top notch. But the best part is the overall vibe and the way everything sit together. Those backing harmonies are cool too (could bring up a tiny notch!?) I went to see an absolutely fab Fleetwood Mac tribute act called Mack Fleetwod about a week ago here in Ireland. Dunno if the tour the UK but if they do I recommend 100%. Anyway beautiful tribute to a wonderful musician.

If you where aiming for a country rock version of this you have nailed it, great stuff!!
Enjoyed that. Don't know the original but no matter. It's all relaxed and coherent.
Brilliant cover. Perfect production and great vocals. Love the guitar work too. Great work; well done.
This works really well with the country rock style you've given it. Excellent backing and your vocals sound really good !

Getting to this one a bit late but it was worth the wait, and man it is great!
I'm not familiar with the original FM song, but it sure nails their sound (especially the guitars, as Greeny noted previously). That Hagstrom Impala sounds utterly fantastic. The arrangement and mix are meticulously put together, with all the pieces fitting together perfectly.
Great slice of late-Seventies power pop!
Wow - this is really special. Brilliant performance and super clean - but energetic - production.
Very impressive.

A real good cover of this Christine song. The Hagstrom sounds great along with your great playing. The country rock style works well with this song. Nice!
