Hi, here's a backing track from a recent Guitarist mag. Originally by David Gilmour, but I thought I'd try my own thing on it.
Setup:
Smoothlead effect.
Strat, neck pickup, tone 0.
Avergo this is really cool!!. You just sound so totally mournful. I liked it a lot.!! Dirty but mournful also. Good job!!!!d Still listening . almost had me crying. Just awesome.
P.J.
Loved those high weepy notes Well Done!
Thanks for your message Avergo. This is really cool and laid back. Can you tell me what your chord progression is here? Is it the same as what I did? Am - Dm - Am - F7 - D7 - Am etc. I learned something valuable from listening to this - for me to put in some more space. It's tempting to keep playing something all the time, but not playing is just as important to get that cool expressiveness. Thanks!
ther is a lot of feeling here.excellent guitar tone.and great playing.
great work!
Thanks People,
Jackofall
I just find it by ear, as I worked out how to get across the fretboard. According to http://www.123-game.com/guitar/fretboardprinter2.asp
I'm playing G minor Pentatonic.
Very cool - I dig the careful playing and thoughtful space between - I really like this kind of floydish/bluesy/santana-ish guitar playing!!
That darn smoothlead is so great, This is really nice, well played, great feeling, notes. The feeling is dripping out of this. Nice. Now I am off to listen to #2.
Backing track, Posted in collabs.
As I've had a few requests.

I thought I already commented on this post - Gremlins, man!!
Anyway - I like the sound of you Strat - cool playing to a cool backer. And the tone is very inspiring - I want that!!
Later,
Mark
