Wouldn't accept a You tube link anymore. So I had to go through the farce of downgrading it to 128. The video was half the fun of the cover. Got to admit I have got to that stage where I can't be arsed anymore...

This effing rocks and the vocals are darn cool Ron! I like the way you've increased the bpm which sets it apart from Bo Diddley's original and George Thorogood's cover. A super lead break at the modulation. Good stuff man!

It was simple before. It wasn't broke - why did they "fix it" ?

There was a thread on this topic just after the new policy was implemented. I speculated as to the reason, and 64Guitars confirmed.

Quote from: Ted on September 03, 2022, 09:06:35 AMOne of the things that make this community work is the jukeboxes – the ability to listen to "Latest Songs," "On This Day," "Overlooked Gems," festival jukeboxes, or an individual's jukebox. That and (to a lesser extent) the ability to easily download songs to our own musical libraries.

There's no reason a member can't upload an MP3 and also post a YouTube video of the same songs. Many members here do that.

If someone doesn't want to post an MP3 because they want to monetize their music elsewhere, then elsewhere is where they should focus their attention.

Exactly right, Ted. I couldn't have said it better myself.

Excellent singing and playing all around and pro-recording and mix on this. Love the smoking fast tempo and lead guitar!  I would like to know about your equipment and recording and mixing methods!

Bo lived just south of Gainesville. About 30 years ago, I was walking into a Turtle's records, and there were a few musicians playing outside (which I had never witnessed before at this spot). As I got closer, I noticed it was Bo, sitting on his amp and playing. I watched for a while as people came and went. Not a single person stopped. After a few songs, he asked me if I knew who he was to which I replied, "Yes, sir, Mr. McDaniel." He got a chuckle out of that.

You do him justice here. I love the controlled chaos of this version, and you certainly sell it vocally. Very cool.
