wonderful cover... really has a nice relaxing vibe the way you sing it...
love the banjo!
I can dig it. Nice smooth vocals, the banjo picking pattern is among my faves, and those drum flourishes are pretty fab as well.
Rock on!
That singing! Can you sell it in a bottle? I could use it. The banjo playing isn't giving you any pain. I like the way the song starts in a simple manner and grows as it progresses. The short banjo playout sections with rhythmic support are also quite effective.
This is a full blown production of a song / performance that feels still quite "homey". Me like!
I listened to this in the car on my way to work.
Awesome bro,you have certainly risen to a great challenge here.
Its a win win for me,I like hall and oats and I like hook.
Youve got that instrument down.
Don't know the song but really enjoyed listening to your version. So laid back I nearly fell off my chair. My predictive text wanted "nearly fell off my chicken"
:)
Great cover always wanted to do Sara Smiles cover but can not play it right Love the build up of the song as it went on

Hi Hook, Nice version. Love the banjo and the acoustic sound.
Love it!

A whole load of Hook goodness. Love it when the drums come in, and the 'live' percussion is essential to how cool the track is (i.e. could never be programmed like that). Amazing performance!
Like Tim, I like the drums kicking in, it just picks the whole thing up, a tragic song.
