Don't take this too seriously.... I was playing about with an old Yamaha keyboard today, a PSR 160, similar but not quite the same model as played by Sheffield's premier singer/songwriter John Shuttleworth a.k.a Graham Fellows who shot to fame as Jilted John in 1978. I couldn't resist having a crack at covering one of his songs.

no need for any forgiveness.... admittedly I know nothing of the good fellow you covered here. However I really like your vocals on this very much. Like the keyboards too...
like the clarity on the vocals...excellent
Oh yes. Great to hear someone have a go at a Shuttleworth original.
Love it.
Maybe a rousing rendition of Pigeons In Flight next. :D
Fun song! And a cool performance. Cheap sounding keyboards in a positive way.

I feel you should be the foil to some talk show host who would occasionally address you with arcane questions. Oh, and you should definitely use this same drum beat and keyboard tone every time.
Yep, that's what I feel.
I dig you being the real you (even if you deny this fervently).

With this flowing Stephen's avocado tune I think I'm trapped in a Benny Hill episode. Love those organ and keyboard tones.
Rock on!

Seems the truth is out ! Ooof!!
Love that Pete, it has made me smile.
Big fan of John Shuttleworth, back in the 80's I had a compilation album with Denise From Doncaster. Took me a few years to realise he was also Jilted John.

I loved that keyboard sound as soon as it kicked in... hehe yeah, like the Benny Hill reference. Sale of the Century with Nicholas Parsons springs to mind as well. I did really enjoy this Pete.

You are absolutely forgiven - this really brightened the start of my day! I saw Mr Shuttleworth do a live set in some club in Dorset. He's a scream. Love your version of this.
