I got this new mixer/recorder and so I just had to try it out.  It works well and has really nice on board effects.  I plugged my Harley Benton PRS direct in and the clean track you hear is just that with on board effects.  Same with the bass.  There is a scuzzy guitar track that I used my Boss ME-25 as an input and for the lead guitar track as well.  I decided to try out using just my Senheiser dynamic mic for vocals.  I wanted to try the mic preamps.  I think they sound quite good.  This was a song that a year ago I could not even attempt.  It was so high I could not hit any of the notes.  As I have been singing alot more I have been able to reach up a bit... not Mickey Thomas though but who is?  Mixed on the zoom, mastered on Landr.
There are 3 vocals again using on board effects.  I really like them alot.  Everything is easy to use but I am already used to Zoom theology as it is similar to the R-24 (but I don't have to use any hidden faders.

Very clean sound. That's quite a mixing desk. Lots of bells and whistles. Looking forward to lots of music from it.

Sounds really good !  I thought it was a mixing desk on which you could also make live recordings - didn't realise you could use it like a Zoom 24, Boss BR 800 etc. and create songs on your own.

Nice sounding, especially in light of it being your first drive around the block. Nice lead tone. This song has always been a sleeper favorite of mine.

Sounds great brother, very clean and crisp tones. Love this song, I'm a big Jefferson fan (Starship too...don't tell anyone).
Rock on!

Beautiful job Stephen. It's a good song and I'd never heard it before, don't know a lot of Starship. Sounds great though, nicely mixed and those vocals are ace.

That sounds really crisp and clear.
Your vocals are sitting excellent in the mix.
Probably your clearest mix yet.
Excellent.
