Well just what the world needs- another Silent night cover. I elected to go the traditional route.
Piano
acoustic guitar
cello
harp
strat and brian moore lead double
little twinkly synth at the very end for the added layer of christmas cheese
oh, and the Guitarron Choir
Merry Christmas and a safe, healthy and happy new year
Beautiful version of a beautiful Carol, well done Ron....
I happen to love this song so I am glad you did it...fantastic version...even the choir... I would have no problems playing this for Christmas with the family...lovely job on all of it Ron
Tell you what... this is EXACTLY what I needed right now. Was out on the beers last night, and I don't normally go out that much, so I have been feeling a bit delicate today. Managed to get to 5.00 whereupon I have opened a bottle of wine to put me on an even keel. This version of silent night really hits the spot. Gentle, soothing and really good. Thank you Ron.

Doing nothing but jamming to all the fine xmas songs today glad I did not miss this one

Well done! There's that relaxed Christmas feel to this version. Where everything is already done, there's no rush and it's getting darker outside. The Christmas lights are on, the snow is gently falling down and people are in a good mood. Gathering together at the Christmas tree, fireplace, or a table. That's what this sounds like :)
I like this version, maybe more ... soothing than that of berrypatch although that of BP is a killer
