EarlyYears (banner image missing)

So I went through a lot of early years songs on the site and came across this little nugget by Geir.

So a cover of Geir's Noodle Soup in P Minor... with a bonus video!

Enjoy! :)

Kickass playing. The song reminds me of 70s Zappa, very cool version.

Bubbles and swirls away beautifully! Sounds like Knopfler singing with Peter Green-era Fleetwood Mac. Top quality blues, and I really enjoyed the video. Fantastic.

Thank you Mike

This was really fun.  I love what you've done with this silly little ditty

Some seriously great guitar playing here and I love how you've captured the crazy feel of the tune.

I agree with the Knopfler comparison too. You have a great and versatile voice.

A fun video too.

Thank you Mike!

Super playing Mike, the guitar is superb, lovely sound and fab lead work. Loving he gritty vocals as well. I really liked the bass, it's really well balanced in the mix and comes through really well, really important for something like this IMO. Great fun version of Geir's original and a cookery video as well.....what's not to like?

I've been revisiting this one. I'm still trying to figure that mystical P Minor. I almost dropped that into a work related discussion yesterday. Just to add confusion and build a sense of  my mystical wisdom! (I wouldn't have told i stole that from Songcrafters ;)).

Amazing blues number! A real toe tapper.

Your voice fits perfectly on this. Excellent lead guitat additions, too.

Like someone said, this is so Zappaesque!

I imagine you had a lot of fun playing (and singing!) this!

Surprise!...and excellent surprise...I love noodle soup and your recipe is really interesting (the fact of breaking an egg in boiling water :D, is it an idea of yours...or is it a common practice in Ireland?
