I asked Jean-Pierre if he would throw in some lap-steel guitar and he kindly obliged with a fantastic solo.
Many thanks, JP.
Great bluesy number, really sounds like a classic. Love the playing from the both of you as well here.
Thank you Ray for this new collaboration
It's an old song, a standard, from 1956 that I had myself made a cover on sc some time ago ... but you sing it much better than me and it is with pleasure that I added a touch of lap steel
I published it in my series Containment Musicak Workshop with Friend and it is (already,..the confinement goes on) volume 13

my first wife loved this song...she used to sing it all the time.. and sing she could...super...she grew up on country and knew all of it by heart...although she loved rock like I did....
anyway, nice job on this RAy...not only on the music which is great...but the singing is excellent...and I can't really tell which part JP did but I like the whole thing...good work

Brilliant stuff guys.
Love those guitars.
An excellent collab.
Don't know the original, but I really like it. This is pure class fellas. So easy on the ear, and everything sitting just right in the mix. Brilliant stuff.
Like Tim says, this is pure class. Superb playing and vocals from Ray, love the keys in particular, and a great mix and production. Everything is so well placed and comes across beautifully. And JP's lap steel is perfectly matched to this and really well done. Really nice work guys.
