I sent Kenny Mac a rocking backer that I had completely forgotten I did...a few rhythm guitars, bass, and drums....I don't even remember recording it...but I do remember the main rhythm riff because i was just playing it...and so I remember liking it.
anyway....KM wrote lyrics and sang it....added a lead guitar and another rhythm add ...
to be fair I know KM is very busy doing alot of music not only his own but others too...so I figured I probably shouldn't have asked him...but he made this into a killer...
can you imagine a Songcrafters tour... it's coliseum concerts.... with various makeups of SC musicians playing SC songs.... 8 or 12 hours of music or perhaps 3 days of 8 hours...like the US festival or something...
and this song played? smokin....
Great songs fellas. That groove is straight on and infectious and the vocals are killer. A full fledged rocker!
Rockin' tune! Good collab, love that riff.
Good work bringing this together Kenny, love the solo too.
Southern style tock goodness!
Nice bluesy vocal delivery, and great rock track.
Crikey you've definitely found your rock vocalist and then some - this is killer!
Brilliant collab guys, love it... Alex
The more I hear KMs stuff... it has become apparent....yellow card against Stephen M... for taking this long to understand how great KM s lead guitar ability is .. I will study Mick Ronson to see if I concur(ntmom).... but I'm sticking with the Aldo amazing Nova for now...Kenny is...as fing great song singer and gitariris.....
This is a brilliant song Stephen, and fantastic additions from kenny. What a collaboration!
Your backing track was great, love the rhythm guitars, bass and drums, catchy melody. Kenny's lyrics and vocals have took it to another dimension. It sounds like a great rock song from the 70's. love that lead guitar solo, yeah it does sound a bit like a mick ronson riff. Darren
Oh yeah, what a great rocker this is. Excellent vocals from KM and some awesome guitar work.
Instant Classic
Love the guitar work and the vocals are smokin
Cool Collab guys
Turned into a raucous but of badassity.
Rock on!
Now this is how you rock a song Stephen and Kenny. Great guitar work, bass and drums Stephen and Kenny's vocals are off the charts!
Some real fine guitar soloing Kenny!
I am so fascinated by complementary tones, and this song is super intriguing. I love the mix (although I wouldn't dare to approach it this way). Fantastic bed track and killer singing. So friggin' satisfying when the drums drop out, that stuttery guitar comes in, and then a bloody tear-your-head-off solo comes after. I love this!

If I were as eloquent this would have been my comment. And yes I love it too! Fantastic and free flowing backing groove Steve, and wicked scream Kenny (Yes you rocked it all but I was partial to that).
Mighty fine!
great collab stephen and kenny , got me rockin superb ....cherrs tony cee
An absolute belter! Great rocking backer and Kenny's vocals really fit so well with this, Brilliant vocal performance as well. I love the breakdown at about 2:30 just before the solo, very nicely done and it really builds the tension for the solo. And that lead guitar, well it's totally awesome. Amazing sound, really great playing and I love the pinch harmonics.
You two absolutely rock out on this one!
Sounds like a classic rock song from the 60's. This could br a lost hit from that era. Top class, guys. Excellent guitar solo, btw!
