Maybe I have too much time on my hands. Dunno. Anyhow, had a bit of fun mucking about with this old Beatles tune and I've done it in bluegrass style. I really do need to get out more.
Relly cool... I love stuff like this...bluegrass versions of mainstream songs....there is a great one out there of a bluegrass cover of AC/DC Thunderstruck by "Steve'n' Seaguls...i love watching that one from time to time...great job on the recording, it sounds so good
lol... i like your description of why you did the song...it's funny! Truth be told, if you wanted to do it....imo that is a good enough reason...
and since you did I took a listen....
and I like it alot...and would even more if you sang it too...or maybe just place another in the thread with you singing...bet it would be great....really love the harmonica on this...good stuff et al.
Great fun, thanks Ray.
vraiment excellent, et original version...Ray,..c'est vous qui jouez le banjo??
Well yeehaw! What an inspired version, it's huge fun and brilliantly played. Superb Ray, I really enjoyed this.
Sounds great Ray kinda benny hill Beatles
Man now I need to buy a banjo.
Your picking and I am grinning great cover
Tim
Love it, well done, Ray... Alex
Some serious chicken picken going on here. Excellently re-imagined.
Rock on!
Brilliant rendition of a McCartney classic. Works so well in the bluegrass style! Very fun.
I love it! It's an inspired idea in the first place, but to be able to pull it off with picking skills like that is nothing short of incredible. Have heard Tommy Emmanuel go a little bit down this direction with his Beatles medley, but not with the fun of this. Fantastic.
