Written for the spintunes challenge last week "Write a song retelling a story from a book/movie/play etc., from a minor/non-leading point of view" This is the Beowulf story from Grendel's point of view.

I like the whole idea of the song. Well recorded, good sounds everywhere in the recording. Bass, lead , vocals... all great.

This sounds awesome. Love the intro. When the guitars kick in with that rock vibe its great. Good lyrics and the vocals and great, nice and clear sound to. Darren :)

Loving that intro, really catches the attention. Getting a bit of a BOC vibe of this... there's a kind of horror flick / comic book feel. Great raw, dirty sound from those guitars and the bass and drums thunder along nicely too. Great tune.

Oh yeah, great rocker this one. Lovely production and a great concept in the lyrics. Guitar work and bass guitar work is stellar; excellent performance all round.

reminds me of Black Sabbath in the guitar and bass.... really cool idea in the lyrics and the singing is great...can't get over the guitar sound...love the little bass solo.. and the drums are really super

Im getting the black sabbath vibe as well. An oh too true story at that,we dont deserve the planet. No wonder the tiny micro viruses are trying to take us out. Anyway back to song,killer riff. Nice one.

Superb stuff TC! I really like the concept behind this one, very clever and it works really well. Everything fits together really well, I love that middle part with just the bass and drums, and then how the guitar leads come in. Great bass sound as well! The vocals are excellent and the whole thing is really well mixed and produced. A fantastic listen, well done!

Man, those guitars! Groove, grit and massive presence. Great dynamics too when you drop-out to just the bass - before that kick-ass lead part takes off. Fantastic playing, arranging and singing. Those 3 mins flew by! Brilliant stuff.

absolutley awesome.....great song, great recording, love that bass, sounds great,sits perfect in the mix.....love the chorus, expecially the last line where it goes into that low melodic thing that is so flipping good....super great song....

Brilliant riffs and vocals! Everything works nicely on this and the spot at 1:20 with drums and bass sounds very good to my ears...killer solo, btw.

What a teaser! When's the rest of the album coming out. Great theme for a prog story. I love the twist of perspective.
The melody and instrumentation is perfect for the lyrics.
