Update: This is a new mix with backing and harmony vocals added and Mastered by LANDRThis is a collaboration with my friend Ed. He sent me this unfinished song and asked if I would like to add lyric, vocal, and guitar. I liked what he had thus far so I went to work on it. It had a Beatle-esque sound to me so that influenced what I added. It's still in the demo stage as of now because I want to add some backing vocals and remix it.
Credits: Ed - All keys/synths, drums, bass and mix.
Farrell - Slide guitar harmonies, vocals, harmonica, and lead guitar.
That slide / harmony guitar is so good at the intro! And the whole song sounds "massive"! Your voice works always!
Everything has put well together, indeed! Fine collab!
Wow, what a cracker, just love the slide.
First class number... Alex
my comment got deleted because I didn't re hit the post button...oh well...
this should be mandatory listening for all of us...great wisdom in the lyrics and the tune is rockin..
love the smokin Allman like lead guitar...its big and beautiful...
a real nice song FJ
Instantly catchy! Very crunchy, very punchy.
Wow this is brilliant. Yeah It does sound like a lost Beatles track :) vocals reminded me of McCartney a bit. it has a nice energetic melody that bounces along nicely. Great music all round, love the slide guitar, lead, bass and keys. :) Darren
What a great collab! Lovely guitar work and love that harp solo. Excellent vox and cool lyrics, Farrell.
super fine...yes Beatlesy....but more so like the Brit pop guys from the 90's....totally comes together so well
Kind of got that sunny Sunday afternoon vibe .but it's cold and grey outside .. where's that bloody cat
Excellent brother, super fun tune. Great collaboration, love your lead work.
Rock on!
Great job Farrell / Ed, I do like those lyrics. This is a very solid tune, it does have that Beatles thing going on with the rhythm. Could possibly bring the vocals up a tiny bit? But a great song all round... a great intro too!

Thanks all for the comments!
Mike: Thanks for the feedback. You are right about the vocal level needing to be brought up a little. I'm going to add some backing vocals and on the remix I'll make sure to bring the lead vocal up...Thanks!
great collab , love the vocals farrell , cracking catchy tune and superb lyrics , and a special mention on that harp playing brill ....fantastic work ,......cheers tony cee
Sublime guitar work, especially the slide. Very cool song as well with an excellent melody. I dig it!
Oh tasty!!!
It's got a great hook, but bring those vocals up please!
Love the guitars and the harp and the drums and .. well everything, but VOCALS!!!!!
That opening with slide style reminds me of Beatle George, which I think is a great thing. I like how its melody comes back in the verses. A great backer (love how the organ sounds with those drums), with great additions on top.
Great collab - I loved it, Farrell!
Love it, a really catchy song with a massive sound. My only comment would be similar to Mike's, the mix is so massive that the vocals are getting lost a bit, and it would help if you could make a bit more space for the lead guitar breaks. But it is a lovely, massive sound and it's a great song with real potential. Looking forward to hearing it with backing vox.....
The intro could have been written by Harrison , truly impressive composition for you both , love the harmonica break , vocals are brilliant ,the music and guitar breaks are first class, altogether one cracking song from start to finish !! loved it
Dunny
Loving your vocals on this... again!
This is a great tune musically and lyrics, you sound 20 years old!
I always look forward to your posts. The quality and attention to detail is always humbling. Reminds me of something that might sit on an album by The Bears. Always loved Belew's pop side.
Great post.

Excellent. Sounds great: the writing, the performance and the mix.
Bouncy, big and happy. I get a Macca vibe too. Like Macca playing with the Travelling Wilburys. Love the 'in your face' wallop of the production - soooo good. Love the melody, love that harp, and such great performances all round. Fantastic.
Thanks all for the good comments!
Farrell
WOW, what a killer track! I'm late commenting, but at least I can say the last mix is perfect, just like the song!
love that harmonica...so big...awesome work there....and the vocals really stand out now.... it was fine before for me....but yes...this is even better and the backing vox are great too...
and that lead, as I said before is amazing...incredible...and those little guitar noodlings around the chords are great too...yeah.,...this is a belter
I try to take something away from all your mixes. Awesome parts awesomely placed in this awesome tune. Bugger.
