Hello,
I used a list of 3 letter words from thefreedictionary.com and wrote a song (with a bit of artistic licence) using only the words from the list.
Garageband - drums, bass and piano and 2 vocal tracks.
I'm not sure whether it needs an intro so I'll take advice on that . . .
Loving this new electro-y direction, there's some crazy sounds here that combine together really well. I love the groove as well, it's really infectious. The lyrics have a kind of cod-Oriental feel to them and they create a suitably off the wall narrative for a cut up song. Very different and very enjoyable.
I think it works as it is, but something similar to the outro would also work as an intro if you wanted to add something at the start.
Very very good. Such great fun, had me smiling away here. Vocal delivery was absolutely brilliant. You know exactly where to put emphasis for effect. Whacky, cool noises, really well put together in GarageBand. Fab.
Mike
isn't this just a bunch of fun? oh this is lots of fun...clever and cool way to get your words....
music is cool too....
bingo....
Really reminds me of Ian Dury and the Blockheads for some reason. Funky, fun and brilliant. We can hear you're really getting to grips with Garageband. Love the sound of that clav.
The lyrics hit just the right balance between nonsense and profound. It all really works.
'and cat has new red ham'. That was my favourite line. Could be completely profound :-)
Nice one!

Oh dear- it's meant to be new red hammock ham arc (better to hear than read) as in she's not wearing the bra and the cat is using it to sleep in (err large cups) always works out better when I explain what's in my head !!!
I am a huge Ian Dury fan btw.
Yeah I'm getting a Ian dury or talking heads vibe here. I like the funk style backing.the lyrics are fun :)
Quirky composition , great idea to have used 3 letter words in the song , it works really well with the musical theme you have chosen and i really enjoyed listening to the tune , thinking outside the box is always a winner , and this is a winner !!
GUD JOB HIL !!!
Dunny
I get that Ian fury vibe too Hils great job as Nigel said infectious
Extremely clever!
All I can say is "I really dig your awesomeness here!"
If I could only have said that in three letter words... :)
I like the direction your music is going lately Hilary. Your personality is in the tunes, the humor, cleverness... even for this fest it comes through!
Well done!
