Pushing the positivity out there.
This song came into my head and I could just hear greeny in there.
I contacted him with cap in hand and he agreed to collaborate.
I had the track almost done, sent Greeny a vocal guide and he nailed it.
Basically I put drums ,two telecasters on,a bass, then sent it to Greeny.
He put on a vocal and a deliciously played shimmering guitar, and sent it back.
I then merged the two vocals into the track and added piano and strings.
Its a jolly little song about getting off your arse and loving life.
C,mon your invited ;D
Very uplifting! Nice song all around. Harmonies tie it together well. Great collab!
You guys just nailed it - what a great concept and terrific collaboration.
Well done guys.
Mike
Wow , this great song conquered me !!! I feel ... invited exactly!! So sweet and perfect , really braviiiiiii !!!!!
Jesus this feels like a Sting and U2 collaboration and they brought Bowie back for cameo in the bridge.
Outstanding guys
Everything about this track is so bloody great. The vocal work, the production and the overall composition. And those Beatle-esque harmonies just blew me away; great stuff, guys.
Great song loving those harmonies and the whole feel of the song
This is totally epic! It's wonderful on many levels, but it's the piano and strings that drive this for me. I really like the way the piano part over the verses contrasts with the more gentle feel over the choruses. It is really uplifting and has a lovely feel to it. The arrangement overall is majestic in its scope and works really well, the guitars blend nicely into the piano and strings. I love the breakdown at about 3:35, that really creates the right platform for the choruses at the end.
The lyrics have sentiments we can all get behind, and the vocal performances from both of you are fab. The overall production is really good, there's a lot going on but you brought it all together really well. A wonderful and hugely enjoyable piece of music on many levels, great collab guys.
Beautiful concept. Really arresting intro, those stabbing chords really catch the attention. It then opens out into something really special. Your two voices really blend beautifully. Impossible not to be moved by this. Well done lads.
Mike
Any allusion to baseball is automatically extra points in my book... aside from liking it all... the choppy piano... the way you pull it all back with just vocals and those panning guitars answering each other... really nice work
I like this. It's good a catchy " anthemic" quality, finding myself humming it for ages afterwards :) great collaboration, music and vocals.
Darren.
What a cool duet! I loved it.
Well done, gents.
This is what it's all about!
Wonderful.
Kenny, keep this going...keep writing songs...
Tim, that's your classic collab genius right there, as usual love your work.
This is so good it is beyond comment.....so flipping good....this is pretty damn good....its two heavy weights finding common ground and we are all the better for the music that poured forth from this chrystaline challice...dew from the gods....whew lads....
This ones a real beauty boys. Love how well your voices meld together, especially when the chorus hits. Gorgeous melodies a bound, the song has a melancholic sense about it while having an uplifting feel. Like the sun poking out after a rainy day. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.
