Hi all, hope you are all well and keeping as safe as life allows. GAS crept up on me and made me buy a Boss GT-1 effects pedal and this is my first effort with the unit. Tones used are all on board with no editing involved, that comes later. All done in one pass except for the bass. Hope you enjoy
Gibson SG, PRS and Fender Precision. Pads by GarageBand.
brill brill brilliant willie . everything is superb love your voice the backing vocals , and great sound on the drums nice tune and lyrics thumbs up .......cheers tony cee
A classic sound on this sweet song. The catchy melancholy melody takes me back in time...reminiscent of the great Roy Orbison.
That is a great sound with this production, Willie. Great lyrics and excellent vocal work.
lovely guitar and soundscape....beautiful....mesmerizing.... just draws one right in close.... I think this has a bit of Tom Petty vibe and that is really good for me.... that big quiet lovely solo is stellar.... I would say this is up there with the stars and planets as far as how big it is....really great work Willie.....
Tom Petty...I was thinking that also, then I saw Stephen's comment...I really like the lyrics....it all sounds good....bit of a deep song going on here...played excellent and sung equally so....like something off the Petty "Wildflowers" album
Very smooth. The effects pedal purchase certainly paid off, Willie. I'm getting a nice couple of Eagles-type harmonies in there. Great tempo and fab vocals. Nice one!
Lovely work Willie, very well written, arranged and played. Loved the lead work and as always the vocals and harmonies are excellent. I really liked the lyrics as well. That GT-1 sounds great, I have the GT-001 and was always very impressed by it. You've proved that GAS is a good thing!
Awesome vocals! As StephenM said, I get a bit of a Petty vibe, in the lyrics as well. Lovely melancholic backing with some excellent lead work. That pedal sure does sound great...
New unit sounds great and you are right on the money with this song Coffee and Willie jangle in the morning does not get any better

Liked this alot Willie. Your vocal phrasing paired with the lyrical content does generate a Petty vibe, which is fine by me being a long time TP fan. Instrumentally its got a cool hypnotic type feel and that guitar tone you've chosen suits the song to a tee. We'll written and well performed. Nice tune Willie!
Could see roy orbison singing this willie, its a classy production.
The pedal sounds great.
It helps that your playing is awesome.
Excellent.
Your style is amazing. Great all around production Willie!
Cool stuff, always melodic and tuneful songs, the strings and guitar solo are excellent, getting the Tom Petty thing too.
This is haunting but soothing at the same time. The lyrics are great and the song as we've come to expect, full of melody. Awesome work and I am a sucker for a good outro solo like this.

along with the other songs on the SC latest list I heard this about 5 or 6 times over the past two days while out working on our home.... anyway... I came in better understanding of the lyrics... for sure....I can relate...very much...as i said before...really big stuff here...
Outstanding performance Willie.
Love your cool vocals and the classic guitar work.
Hats off 2 U Sir
I agree with Sandy - definitely a touch of The Big 'O' here, as produced by Jeff Lynne! Which is quite a compliment on your production here. It's real quality, Willie. And the lyric feels a bit different for you - mysterious but epic. I really like it!
Brilliant work. And if this is what a GT-1 pedal does, I think you've found a great formula / bank of tones.
