Part of my ill-fated progressive rock opus that will probably never happen.
Just waking up and this is just perfect for the moment this misty Saturday morning
Fu@k me this is amazing, so chilled out,so relaxing.
No explanation of how it happened by the way ,its like you ran up to songcrafters door ,dropped the parcel and ran lol.
Such a lovely piece of ambience, coupled with that great voice.
Well done.
This is absolutely stunning, Bruce. The way you layer and texture guitar is sublime. And as always, such stellar playing. There's so much depth here. The horn and oriental(?) flute section is beautiful. What a cracker.
I hope the full opus does happen because this is superb. Fantastic performance and crystal clear mix. Keep working on the full project - I need to hear it.
Are you still on Studio One 3? I'm sticking on v4 for the foreseeable future.
Stunning Blooby. I like the cavernous reverb that sounds as deep as an ocean. A pedal? Who is the singer...you or? A very chilled sound!

Still on Studio One 3.0 and digging it when I can find the time. I am sure I barely scratch the surface of its capabilities, but then I am past the point of thinking through everything. Now if I could just wrap my head around cable management.

It is actually a free plugin called
Supermassive from Valhalla DSP (https://valhalladsp.com/shop/reverb/valhalla-supermassive/), my favorite plugin company. I should mention some of the modulation is coming from a vibrato pedal and a Bigsby.
That is indeed my caterwauling.
Thanks for listening.
Now on 2nd play - still drifting away......love it!
Sounds wonderful, you are such a talented musician.
my oh my!
I'm not sure how it happened but I am glad it did. It is really quite beautiful. You used restrained playing and effects to create a wonderful and emotional soundscape. The caterwauling is really nice and suits the song perfectly.
I also love that you used the Valhalla Supermassive to help create such a wonderful soundscape, because two days ago I bought the Valhalla Vintage Verb plugin and downloaded Supermassive at the same time. Clearly the right decision!
Oh yeah, beautiful simply beautiful. The sound I found lifting and and perfect. A fabulous post. Willie
Very well recorded and produced. Love the arrangement as well. Myself, I'd back off of the delay on the vox just a tiny bit, but that's entirely a personal artistic decision.
:) John B
really great recording.... guitar work is fantastic... I could imagine Lurker singing this.... I noticed on some of yours he does and that on his juke box you play guitar for him...that is a pretty dynamic duo.....
Wow. I go on Covid lockdown, and this is what comes of it. Perhaps, I should stay home more often.

Willie says it all for me... beautiful indeed

Pure Class Bruce, as always, just love this, its a keeper... Alex
Just superb! At first, this is an epic song and the arrangement/production is out of this world! Around 4 minute spot> this has wonderful Pink Floyd vibe. Peaceful and relaxing!
This is so cool loving the modulation, cool guitar phrasing, then excellent vocals, just loved the listen, cool stuff!!
Missed this first time around , what a stunning composition so glad i had a listen , the opening just pulls me in with those incredible chords just floating in the air , the mode is just brilliant , music like this just inspires my imagination , wonderfully crafted and recorded , just loved it all right the way through , magical music great stuff

It's never going to happen this way. This is way too restrained to be prog. Hit me up if you want ideas on how to ruin it and make prog. I'm a recovering prog wannabe, and can be easily pushed off the wagon.
Lovely stuff. Missed it the first time around.
gad this got bumped...it's fantaastic and I really like the vocals alot...of course the guitar playing and structure is stellar but the voice fits perfect....and the recording is excellent
I love pink Floyd and this reminded me a lot of them. Really great music. I love the tempo and the guitars , and your playing is awesome. Really excellent song. :) Darren.
Great that this got bumped cause this it absolutely beautiful. Just a stellar piece of ethereal space rock. Those horns man, those effing horns are so gorgeous. Mixed to perfection. Like a modern day post rock version of Pink Floyd. I guess you can say I like it...like it a lot. :)
