Hi all :D

Just joined, looking to get some tips on home recording and also songwriting, I play guitar and bass  8)

I live in Lewisham, South East London in the UK :)

Hi from NC in the US and welcome.... if you dig through some of the old board you will find alot of great recording tips.... I have been on here a month and have learned a ton already...and you can start a thread to ask a question about what to buy etc... or how to do something... folks on here are very nice and helpful and we listen to each others music.... which is my favorite part... there are great songwriters on here and some outstanding musicians... enjoy yourself.... I certainly am.

Hi John, Welcome, I'm new also.    Just discovered this board today.  It so happens I own a boss BR600 and it seems there's a lot of the "porta-studio" type digital recorder type users around on this forum, and it seems a very active and friendly bunch of song-writing mavens.

Finland!  Cool. My best friend Tim is Finnish Canadian, his parents came from Finland to Canada when he was quite small, but he did go back to finland for one year of his childhood.

He taught me the proper pronunciation of Sauna.    I think I can pronounce "Elmo Karjalainen" properly also.
