Another Day That Ends In "Y". I've had this song in my head and in the works for a long time. It finally got to a place where I felt comfortable sharing it. I was coming off an allergy attack when I recorded this scratchy lead vocal. My plan was to replace it with a healthy voice later but the whiskey, road worn vocal grew on me so here it is. Credits: Farrell Jackson - songwriter, guitar, all vocals, and production. DrC - Keys and drums. Gary Carciello - lead fills and solo. Rob Grant Bass. Mastered by LANDR.
Faaaarkin 'ell!
Smacks you right in the face - and then pulls all your teeth out. What a full on smasher.
Right up my street - my youthful street. Oh this absolutely fabulous

This is just fantastic, on the way to the pie pod - no doubt
Stunning
Stuuuuuning!!! reso synth fadeout!
you buggers.
Brilliant Farrell & friends! Very professional stuff here! Real good rock tune and the keyboard solo puts a little prog rock vibe on this. Enjoyable listening!
Wow.
This is right up there Farrell, a brilliant song with brilliant performances and stellar production. The vocals work brilliantly, they sound great and fit the song really well, I'm glad you worked with them. The backing vox are great as well. You assembled a great band there, the keys and guitar in particular are really good. Production is stunning, you really know what you are doing.
Very, very good, and also a great listen. Had me leaping around this morning!
Oh yeah - ROCKING!
You were right to keep the vocal - it just works here. There's been several times I've wanted to keep a guide vocal but couldn't because the wrong lyrics were sung or there were bits missing... I've now taken to taking more care on getting all the words and notes out correctly on a guide... just in case I can't improve on it when it's time to do the "vocal" ;D
Love it. Flash says most of what needs saying... I agree wholeheartedly - and I'm completely sober ;) (last night would have been somewhat different! It's early morning here now, warming up the studio for much toil and creativity... who needs sunshine and exercise? heheh... :D :D)
The quality of the Latest Song Jukebox today is incredible. This is outstanding, so thick & full sounding. Completely badass & then that funky keyboard solo...into the smoking hot guitar solo...love it! Great hook too, well done.
Rock on!
Have to go along with Hook, the quality lately on the latest songs jukebox is frightening. I don't know a better place to hear original, fantastic music.
Farrell, if you were gigging near me I would pay good money to go see you. Right up my street, hard rocking tune that swings like hell. Really well put together, great concept and a nod to the great guitar tones.
Mike

ITS BLOWN ME AWAY 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
Gives me a beefed-up Steve Miller Band vibe. An absolute rocker. That synth solo part is beyond awesome, but then that smoking hot guitar comes in to take centre stage. Fucking amazing!
You've outdone yourself on this.
Stellar stuff.
A wow post. Your vibrato alone is worth it. Great arrangement, guitar, synth, bass, production, and singing. Blimey x10.
