Pretty shocked an saddened to hear Neil Peart has passed away. Amazing drummer, one of rocks best and a major part of one of rocks most important prog bands... RIP Neil.
Very sad. I have always been a huge Rush fan and Peart's drumiming was a big part of the band.
Bollocks. RIP Neil - the soundtrack to my youth, you could do no wrong. You will be missed.

I'm quite shocked to hear this sad news. I've been a big fan of Rush since about 1971 when they played at my high school (https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=3332.msg32375#msg32375). And I saw them three more times throughout the seventies. I think Neil Peart was the best drummer ever, and a great lyricist! So sad that he's gone.
Very sad news. Great drummer in a great band. RIP Neil.
One of the great ones!
Rock on!!
Sad news indeed....one of the best. RIP Neil Peart
One of my biggest heroes in music, had the privilege of seeing them live in 1980*@ Glasgow Apollo, 2112, Bytor and the Snowdog one the best gigs ever!!
Never mind Rush, this guy was a drumming genius. R.I.P Neil.
Sad to read this news - he was a legendary drummer and lyricist who was the major contributor to Rush's sound and catalog.
Rush was one of my favorite rock bands in the late 1970s. My first taste came with 'A Farewell to Kings' in late 1977 (incidentally, the same year I got 'Never Mind the Bollocks...').
RIP, Neil Peart.
