Title: "Someone Else" a Redler & Hook original

Redler posted this awesome track here https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=29005.0 (https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=29005.0) yesterday. I saw it this morning and wrote the words on the way to work. Just got home and hashed out the vocals.

Holy moly!! Stunning job with the lyric and vocals! Listened to it via phones and it sounds really good! Nice multitracking vocals and panned so well. The both versions (this and Orh/Päivi) are excellent.

Wow excellent  I was thinking about this as well.
I normally dont listen to other versions until I've finished
My own take,but damn it I couldn't help myself lol.

Another great lyrical spin on top of Kari's rocking backer. Great vocals, Hook - especially love the vocals on the chorus - they sound HUGE!!

Nice Quick work.....Don't want to break it down too much as it doesn't need it

I personally think though this is first person at times I would reference that others can be SOMEONE ELSE....It may bring the listener in closer.  I think it still implies it is about you....I know it's changing POV but it is also universal...Not only did the SINGER lose himself but the LISTENER finds himself when he loses himself.  Plus it is present tense

To find myself I lost myself
or maybe that was just someone else

You find yourself when you lose yourself
or maybe that was just someone else

Wow... big sound here. Great job guys. Hook you made a quirky original track even more quirky with those great lyrics. I like the harmony vocals too. Great job guys.

Like I said in Redler's sister/brother post:  I love going back and forth between this and the 'Censor Me' virgin..   ;)

There's a passion in the lyrics and (especially) in your presentation of 'Someone Else' that really fits perfectly with the punk-yness of the music.  This feels a bit more complete as a 'full' song, for me at least..

Great job all the way around to everyone; though especially Redler in the sense that it was his music and melody that got everyone else's creative juices flowing in the first place!

Wonderful to hear a different versions about this tune. You rock Hook! Lyrics are so cleaver and funny. ;D Fine vocals. Chorus sounds stunning!

I found this digging around and thought, well, it rocks and it has been about a year....my gosh this is great...rockers... yes it is all good.. this voice is pure raw vociferous rambling goodness...kind of like early Bowie...wow....and the music is better than his (JMO)....
