Always a shame when somebody passes, but there have only been a few musicians who knocked me sideways when it happened. Michael Hedges, Miles, and Chris Squire spring to mind. Neal is doing that to me now. Just really friggin' sad.
Just finished a successful set at the Lockin Fest with Oteil Burbridge, and he apparently killed himself a day or two after.
Oh bugger.
That's sad.
