Title: "Census" a Hook original

Been working on this one over the last week. done between the car and the kitchen table . Kala Archtop Tenor Uke, Hadeen U Bass, Garageband & drumJam drums, TC Performer App & Sure Beta 58 into the BR80.

2 rythm ukes (both stereo)

1 drum set (stereo)
1 aux percussion )stereo)
1 U-bass
1 atmospheric track (stereo)
1 lead uke (stereo)
1 solo uke (stereo)
1 vocal (stereo)
Census
written & performed by Hook
Let's get down to the heart of the matter
Skip all the fluff and the pitter-patter

Have to say this brought a smile to my face. Love the quirky off the wall subject matter. Confidently done and I love when you do a bigger production Hook as you know how to arrange a song with complex instrumentation. Cool tune!

Hook, you're able to do things with ukuleles that turn the whole idea of the "limitations" of such instruments on its head. Really full-sounding arrangement and those leads sound amazing! And I dig the social commentary in your lyrics - sadly, very relevant to our USA in 2019.

Great song Hook! Very interesting to hear your music when you use more instruments. Man and uke is very intimate and touching but this is quite awesome.  #)

Wicked tune bud! The lead uke is fabulous,  have tried that with the one you gave me that has the internal mic and couldn't get that kind of tone. Crazy cool!!

Fab tune brother, interesting lyrics and subject matter - I really love the way that you can make a song out of any subject, with any instruments. Fab.

Love this. Really melodic rocker. Well arranged, the melodic lead uke that underlines the vocal is lovely. Well done.
