Finally done one for the 1976 fester - it's a surprise, I hope you like it!
LitLR half/half reverb.
You have a very beautiful voice!
I got a reply from The Wurzels today - they like it, I think!
;D Took a little while before it clicked what song song it was...much better than the original ! Well re-worked !

I had to do a little research...I really love your version.
Rock on!

Unsurprisingly, I like it - a lot! But I can't figure out which 1976 song this is?
I'm not familiar with the original, but I love this! Beautiful!

It's The Wurzels - The Combine Harvester and they've actually listened to it!
It was a bit of an experiment - I wanted to prove that you can 'act' anything but I'm a proper fan and I have their rock cover albumn (where they country-up the rock classics).
Here's the song I covered.

Nice job, great to hear a mellow aproach to this song.
Takes it to a different place.
Well done
I new the melody from Melanie's "Brand New Key," but I wasn't hip to these lyrics. Not to be adolescent but that's about the greatest opening line I've ever heard.
Really lovely take on this. You made it almost romantic.

Hehe... very good. What a surprise that was. That is a very strange mixture of comedy and wistfulness. Very original Hillary!
