Spurred on by your very kind comments on John Barlycorn this is my second effort, a little rushed, but this site is addictive and I'm hoping it will improve my playing by the constant rehearsal and then ultimately the recording process which will hopefully give me a better understanding of how this MicroBR works--------- well here it is, be gentle

This is really good. You did a great job layering the guitar parts. I love the overall mood of the song.
Good job!
Very well done! 8)
Mr Zimmerman would be pleased, ;)
personally I think the Vox is great so I would tone down the Reverb effects and let it naturally shine......
Thanks---after listening to lots of other songs on the site i thought my stuff sounded a bit flat thats why i shoved the reverb up more
Facemask93
not heard this song for years a great rendition love the harmonies
Quotesite is addictive
you had better believe that.
This is exceptional. Your voice sounds really great. I kinda like it with all the reverb, makes it sound old-timey and live. Great guitar playing.
Great job, very atmospheric!
I love when people add some sort of sound effect to their songs, like you did with the rain! Great job!
What a great track. I've never heard this one - my fault, no excuse for ignorance. Well played and sung. I'll consider this to be the original now, it's the first version I've heard!
Nice, really nice. It really works.
Stunning!
Fantastic! You're the kind of guy that could play into a tape recorder and it would sound good! Loved the 2bular(Or similar effect) used on one of the git parts.
See you around!
Mark
P.S.
Pretty cool that you used to work with Rick Parfitt!! Never knew anybody famous.
Only decorated his flat in teddington--nothing more
Not that it matters, I've never been less that five feet away from anybody famous. Unless you count George W. Bush - I was heading to Oregon and he and Jeb were on the same plane - I was only 19 and remember he gave me a noogie.
Might write a book someday - "George Bush Gave Me a Noogie (And Other Cool Stories)" :)

Apparently, GWB is a serial noogier.

( MBR addict who last night recorded two new songs and one today)
Very good! - Possibly send me a high res of that? It's definitely t-shirt time for some friends (With their heads in place of SH!).
They will hate me but I don't care!!

Excellent. Simple, straightforward, well recorded, played and sung. Your voice sounds great, both on this and John Barleycorn. Feed your addiction!!
Cheers,
Nigel
Wow you are just to cool!!. I like the reverb. It gives it that hollow. echoy sound LOL Great job!
You're picking some mighty fine tunes to cover. And performing them beautifully. What is there not to like?! Lovely work.
Sounds nice - has a live sound to the singing - good job!
I'm having a high ole time listening to all these songs!
Just lovely . . . . . .
Excellent bump Haylie! Rob I could listen to you sing all day, if you and Geo ever did a collab I swear I would die a happy man!
Wonderful
Andy
Lovely jubbbley.....
Love your cover...
No need "to be gentle", because it's wonderful.
Love the way you bring (put? sorry for my limited english language capacities) sensibility when you play...

Yes, another excellent bump Haylie! Rob this sounds great, one of my fave Dylan tunes. I'd like to hear how it sounds now with your increased experience recording and w your BBT. I bet it's awesome. You have such a great vox! DD
You Rock!
OTD Bump.....
Your always with us Rob....
Alex
It's not considered a bump if it is a Facemask song....it is an act of grace....brings tears to my old jaded eyes....truly one of the greats
Another classic from FM. We all use recording tricks and multi tracking and effects.
Just the man with guitar, maybe could use a wee bit of editing, but some, cool guy on here could make this sound epic!
