I knew the David Bowie's version, I like it a lot.
It's a kind of "responsability" to cover a Jacques Brel song, he is so genius...
Bowie do it perfectly... and Oldrottenhead too

Very nice version, I only know the English version so it's great to hear it sung in French. You did an excellent job here, the vocals are very strong and the accompaniment works very well. It's very nicely recorded too.

I would rather be listening to it in a smoky bar with a glass of Pernod, but it was a very enjoyable listen at home!

i didn't realise brel never recorded this in a studio, i advise everyone to watch his performance not just of this song but the entire set from the olympia show.
