Title: Clair de lune (the moonlight) Cover Debussy
Post by: Jean Pierre on May 31, 2018, 09:03:22 AM
 The moonlight
This is the third movement of the Debussy bergamasque suite
It is perhaps the best-known piece of the Bergamask Suite for solo piano, composed in 1890. It is likely that its name is inspired by Paul Verlaine's poem Clair de lune.
... This is an excerpt, if it pleases some SCaficionado, maybe it will motivate me to play the whole piece which is actually an arrangement of Laurindo Almeida whose second part is played "samba"

Well it's over is not hard rock  ;D... but all tastes are in nature, is not it? ;)

Very well played!

Alfredo

....but there's too much bass, the sound is someway "bottled", if you understand what I mean, and some less reverb wouldn't be bad too...the usual nightmare when recording a nylon-strung guitar...if you want, I could try to remix it my way...

Quote...but there's too much bass,

yes you're right, but it's only a rough draft, if I do the whole version correctly I want you to make me a mix then

I have rectified, Alfredo, less bass now (but also the guitar is tunig in drop D ...)
