An instrumental from me. Been working on this for a few weeks now... haven't had a lot of time for music so every time i tried to try and play guitar for a fair amount of time i had i had to stop because my fingers got sore.
Anyway this is my first song done in earnest with the Harley Benton Les Paul I got last year. I had the frets and tuners improved by a guitar luthier as the guitar wasn't really playable from the factory.
It's a bit of a nod to Peter Green in style, in fact as I was getting into it I started getting the feeling it might be a bit of a rip off of one of Peter's tunes. If it is, it's not intentional. I am going to go to You Tube tonight with my headphones and a couple of cans of beer to see if it is... i hope it's not too close!!!
2 rhythm guitar tracks (same panned left and right) one a bit drier than the other
1 lead track
1 bass track programmed in garageband
1 drum track programmed in garageband
Relaxing listening. The lead guitar sounds like a dream, I really like that tone!
Nice composition and so well played. I'm on the second listening. Fine job!
Nice one Mike, Brilliant guitar tone,

Mike, you have put outsome beautiful guitar music, and this is another one. Congrats on this achievement, it's very well done.
Really beautiful! And soothing. Lately music that can have such an impact on my mood is a treasure to me.
Loving this one. Had it looping for a while and the smooth lead lines and great tones really come through so well. Very nice work.

Beautiful sound, excellent playing makes this a winner for me. Willie
Side note: I've heard good things about the HB guitars, but it sounds like you had a bit of a mod to make it playable. Did you review it somewhere?
I'm really digging that easy gait. A nice, relaxed stroll that still has some grit and girth to it. Very enjoyable listen.
Lovely tone there mate,it certainly sounds like a lost green track.
Excellent instrument,lovely playing.
We'll done.

I saw a couple of reviews on uTube, mostly good and a few people on here had only good things to say about HB. My own opinion would be that they are bargain basement price for a reason. You do in a sense get what you pay for. Mine needed a good set up, it needed the frets finished off properly, (sharp edges, needed levelling and a few were not seated properly). Tuning pegs were awful. Bridge needed replacing. So where they save on price, for me anyway there was real evidence of where they cut back.
In saying this when you put it against a top end Gibson for example... it is still good value, but you could well need to spend the original price of the guitar again in order to make it play properly. If I was to go back in time I would more than likely pay a bit more (double maybe) in order to get a guitar with a higher chance of being finished properly.
Very nicely done Mike! The HB is a sweet sounding guitar.

Super. Loved the purity of the melody. Lovely.
B
lovely, reminds me more of Bill Nelson than Peter green tho. Bloody magic.
Beautiful melody and excellent playing!
Beautifully constructed and played, Mike. Sounds like you've got that Harely Benton LP in the zone now.
Bump.
Really enjoyed the way this was done, all the parts. The lead tone after the 2 minute mark gives me goosebumps!
Great job Mike!
