Got a wee surprise from Kenneth this morning. Getting a wee honker tune to mess with cheered me up no end, as Mrs Rottenhead is currently stuck in Tenerife (in a 5 star all inclusive hotel) because Glasgow Airport has been closed due to the weather. She was due home on Thursday evening may not get home till Sunday.

Anyway as you will probably guess that bit of info inspired the lyric.

It's amazing how fast you are at putting lyrical ideas into a complete project! Love it!

I hope that your family is reunited soon, and safely.

Sometimes it takes less than one hour from him to write lyrics and record a song  :D. Superb job on this time as well!

Superb job gents! Kenneth's backer sounds so good and fresh. You're one of my all time favs of songwriters here.

Just an FYI- the guitars were recorded from a Fender Mustang 1 amp through the Ipad mic using a Squier VM 70's Strat. Cheap gear always!😎

The guitar sounds really good through that Mustang, great little amps.

Damn, glad I didn't miss this one. This is a classic. It sounds really warm and those guitar tracks are expertly done. Big up to the production on this, it really sounds pro (listening on headphones)

This is very impressive. Thanks for the wonderful music. It has a bit of a Joshua Tree feel to it. Very lovely layers and rhythms.

What a great backer from Ken to work with. Layers of atmosphere already built in and Oldrottenhead added even more to it.
Pleased to see wifey got back home okay and hope she enjoys the sentiment of the tasteful lyric.
