Haven't been writing or recording much of anything lately but managed to do this one over the last few days in the car. Drums are garageband, The square sine sound is from Thumbjam. Uke is my Kala Archtop & the bass is my Hadean U Bass. All recorded on The BR80.

At least I don't remember a thing
No swirling fascinating
Colorful world that I'm creating

And a better outlook

Great sound, such a great backing you have made,
The beginning was a bit like the style of Rod Stewart's numbers.

Excellent hook,rock out with a band that's way too loud....that's me 😎
I remember one of the good things about the uk met was we where in a proper studio belting it out through the amps.
We really must do it again, there's slot to be said about the freedom from headphones and using the air in the room.

Well your name is Hook for a good reason. This has a great hook and keeps the listener on the barb. Such a great vibe and melody on the vocals - terrific lyric. That sine wav is the icing here. It has the perfect pitch and fits in the song really well.

I really haven't been bumpin much lately so if tonight I do a bit extra I'm gonna live with it...

Now i'm hooked! The song is a dream. I like the bouncy feel, and the swirly sounds. It's almost like being in the clouds. The instrumentation is great, and the synth sound compliments the more organic sounds beautifully. The song rolls nicely along and invites the listener for a ride.
The song reminded me of lots of things, and weirdly it also reminded me of Dinosaur Jr. (the poppiness, not the fuzz!). For me this feels like the 90's.
