Here's the latest and 4th song from Diesel Saloon....It's called That's How Life Goes. We never know where a song is going until it's done and after all members have had their input. We discussed who was to do what and then sent our finished tracks to Mach and he did his magical mix on it. This one traveled into prog rock land somewhat....it was a lot of fun going on this musical adventure.
Diesel Saloon Credits:
Mach - Song concept, bass, drums, piano, outro lead guitar, acoustic guitar, mix, and various other things I've probably missed.
Mike S. - Vocal
Farrell - Lyric concept, electric guitar rhythm, lead and harmonic fills.

Wow. Hugely ambitious and so much going on, but all your parts are completely aligned and feel so natural. Beautifully played and stitched together. Love the way that harmonic-laden medieval guitar part at the start goes backwards through the looking glass into prog-rock land. Really fine work by all of you.
Holy shiznit guys!
That was awesome. Love the way you mixed the acoustic in there with the electric. Reminded a lot of Heart at times (not a bad thing).
You guys almost sound like you know what you are doing :D
Great collab!
fabulous, love that intro........... then pow!
brawtastic brothers.
WOW!!! Great song and production guys.
Everything sounds so good and perfect from Mike's excellent vocals
to all of Mach's and Farrell's rhythm and leads ... top notch stuff.

Big thanks to Gary for a super track put forward for a collab. And Farrell for your great additions and lyrical concepts. Blimey you guys can really play!!
Mike
Super stuff just the right mix of rock and prog an excellent listen, well done the Diesel guys, loved it!!
This is outstanding tune, guys!! Loved that intro, too and thought is this a acoustic song, but then it turned to a bit prog and psychedelic direction, imo. I'm on the second listening already and loving the feel and groove of this.
Superb job by all of you. So fresh and professional!
Bravo Diesel Saloon!
Wow guitars - this is truly, truly excellent. You have set the bar really, really high on this one! Blimey. This sounds AMAZING!

Thanks Tim! Mike has a great voice and Mach's skills and ideas are excellent. When Mach mentioned adding the acoustic intro and morphing it into a reversed harmonic, I liked the idea even before I heard it. he pulled it off perfectly. Your description of "going backwards through the looking glass into pro-rock land" is perfect.....I like that!
Farrell
Fucking... massive.... this has soooo much to like. Great tune... great mix... great collab. Super group!!!!
Thanks Mike for giving us a fantastic vocal performance. You had the right melody for this one Bro. Farrell did a great job on the rhythm guitars and coming up with the lyrics. It was fun doing this one with the Diesel Saloon guys and how it fell into, as Tim puts it, Prog-rock land. Thanks for all the great replies.
Mach

An excellent collab.... a new supergroup... When are you hitting the road?
Every so often a collab on here will be so good that I run out of superlatives. Here is such a piece. Can't pick anyone out for special praise, an excellent piece all round. Willie
