Tod send me this track an age ago. Guitar drums and vocals, and I struggled with this for a while, until I realised I should be playing in the major key (Dooh!). Anyway put some extra clean (ish) guitar (been listening to the Foo's of late), and lead and some thunderous bass (kemper on overdrive !!! :-) ). Sent it to Tod as work in progress - but he said go ahead post-it, so here it is :-) I always have to listen to things as a whole to conceive songs (probably lack of imagination), so its only when I hear the whole thing, I can say yeah I get that. This is an awesome tune and lyrics, and very relevant given what is happening around the world. Tunes always sounds complete when you have a proper drummer playing :-)
The tricky part I had (apart from not interpreting the right key) was the guitar intro to fit the start. This was put on afterwards and getting the intro to feel natural was a bit of a challenge :-)
Its a cool tune Tod, sorry I was sooooo slow with it! If you want to remix (could do with slighter higher vox prob), I'll upload the files .....

Great tune Tod, and very fine playing Bruno!
Love the simple, hard driving guitar riff. I can hear a little Foo influence in there, but I can also get some vibes of old school Grand Funk too.
I think your suggestion to bring the vocals up and a little more "into" the mix is a good idea, but nonetheless, this is a very good song and relevant to the times.
It's a keeper boys!
Haven't heard truer lyrics in a while. The intro is perfect, and the vocals are the right volume at this end. Maybe other people have a different sound or eq on their systems, but it rocks here. Love the drums. All around great composition.
Hey Vann, Path and Bruno. Thanks for the kind words. The song was inspired by a relationship I shared with a former employer, but yes... I think the chorus does sum up what most folks are feeling these days. It's a strange world we've become... or at least what the media potrays us as. I try to look for the good in humanity these days. Peace ya'll... This place still rocks and good to see you back Vann man.
This is a really cool rock tune lots to like, great vox maybe a tad higher in the mix in the verse but still great singing.
The guitars and drums are on the money, really loved the listen !!
Awesome, rockin' tune to the max!!! You put a couple of master 'crafters together and you get a magnificent tune!

Rock the fuck on!
Bravo guys!!! Catchy chorus, killer riffs and real ROCK tones on guitar - a few things what a cool rock song needs - this has all of them!
Really well played and sung! Tod's drums sound so good!!
Rocks like a bastard, with a stadium-sized chorus that would have the audience punching the air. This is a mighty fine collaboration. Oh yeah.
Great rock'n tune guys. Excellent song writing Tod and you got it done right Bruno.
Drums, Guitars, Vox all sound great!!!

So true ....Rocking!!!!!
This rocks big time.
Another listen - Yes, it rocks!!!
Yes... Freedom aint exactly free. One must rise and claim it... this rocks a cubit butt ton... would like vocals a touch louder but hey.... its a great track and spectacular musicianship... soaring guitars!
listening to this again in headphones instead of just off the phone speaker...the vocals remind me a bit of Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad...that is quite good...remarkable job on the mix especially considering the way it came about Bruno! It's worth the listen ... it's really a soaring song...soaring... soaring!
As William Wallace said in Braveheart as he was being stretched to death on the fagots FFFFFFRRRRRRREEEEEEDDDDDDOOOOOMMMM!!!
