Hi guys, on P04 guitar effects patch (twangster) which Fender amp(s) is that modeling?
I figure there may be more than one Fender with that nick-name, please fill me in on all ya can, so I can be up to speed with "what are/is a twangster" Fender amp(s).
WR
most likely a twin-(preferably a black face)
I always assumed - probably wrongly! - that the 'twanster' patch was a simulation of a telecaster's characteristic country twang. If anyone knows better, I'd love to hear... !
Never heard that nickname referring to any actual Fender amp. I'm with Greeny on this that its probably referring to just the twangy like tele tone.
I agree with Greeny too.
I agree with Greeny and the others. The name Twangster isn't referring to the amp model. It's referring to the twangy sound that's popular in country music, especially with a Fender Telecaster guitar. The CLEAN preamp effect used in this preset patch models the Fender Twin Reverb amplifier. See this message (https://songcrafters.org/forum/micro-br/micro-br-metal-heavy/msg11239/#msg11239) for other amp models.
I agree with Greeny and the others too! Because he and they are correct, it is a reference to a tele's sound played through a Fender amp, and the BR's effect P04 does use the twin for this modeling.
Thank's to you guys, it's all been covered, much appreciated.

I use it with my tele sometimes for double the twang, lol
