Title: "Bent So Far" a Hook original

Did this one Monday night in the car, in the rain. Me, my Kala Archtop uke & the br80.
1 uke/vocal (stereo)
1 lead uke (stereo)
Bent So Far
written & by Hook
Didnt we fall apart
Around the time that i fell apart
Isnt that when it happened

We made our last mistake
Took all that we could take
Air so thick that we choke
Bent so far that we broke

It seems that we shied away
From the impirtance of day to day
Isnt that what happend

had our last surprise
No more smiles in our eyes
Let it turn to ash and smoke

Live feel recording, nice touch with the rain drops adds some atmosphere, enjoyed the listen!

100% pure Hook-ology! Unmistakable you, mate. The little gems of recordings you come up with with portable gear in the car are a lesson to us all. Lovely sound on that uke, by the way & the raindrops add real atmosphere.

Dude, you could make a cool song in a muddy ditch. Not that I would want you to, but you could do it. It's crazy how the last time I saw you it was in another country (Awesome place!!!).

Listened to this a few days back brother - am very slow at posting at the moment!
Loved the atmosphere with the music and the rain. Lovely recording.
