Title: "Hazy Moon" a Hook original

Have had the house to myself the last few day but been consumed by 2 projects I've been working on for other friends.
I did this last night, I had the lyrics from my preMET stockpile. This is done on the Tascam DP24sd. I recorded the baritone Uke (low tuned) & vocal simultaneously. I used my AKGC214 for ther uke & the Sure beta58 through the TC helicon voice touch live. The vocal is a little buried for my usual tastes but I think it works here.
The bass is my Ibanez acoustic & I did a pad & lead track with the miniNova. The drums are my acoustic cocktail Kit with the same 2 mics.
2 uke/vocal
2 drums
1 bass
1 synth pad (stereo)
1 organ lead (stereo)

Hazy Moon

A hazy Moon
shines down upon this unworthy soul
illuminating my flaws
coloring in my lines with shadows
hues from gray to blue
that emphasize
the sadness in my eyes
a sadness I'd forgotton
from a distant past
over & gone
or so I suspected
until faced with whats left
scraps of pain
mistakes together like stained glass
illuminated by this Hazy moon
that shines down upon
this unworthy soul
illuminating my flaws

Totally agree with Alex. This has a magic atmosphere! Perfect with morning coffee :)

Yes indeed, a nice laid back & relaxing feel. I like the chord progression and fine vocal.
