...a french blues!
https://soundcloud.com/white-rider-1/polochon-blues
French Blues song are not so frequent... :) ;D
JP guitars and Dobro
BIAB bass drums organ
I try to translate with google traduction... :(
Sitting on the edge of my bed
I leave the bolster
To re-enter slippers
It's already morning.
Cap with lead cap
The "trogne" (head) as a counter
I search my minds groping
I wake up in pain.
Corkscrew pajamas
An arrow in the kidneys.
I grumble and make the grunt
Up to the bathroom.
Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues.
A breath to kill you an ox
Drowned my night.
Pulmoll at the corner of the eyes
I reborn life.
A hand scraping the mop
The other lower back
I do by looking in the mirror
Pipi in the sink.
Yesterday evening, what atmosphere was there
"la vache", what have we got.
Now on the edge of the bidet
I continue my night.
Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues ...
Blues Blues Blues ...Pillow Blues .
Here is the moment when the awakening begins to bump me.
The toothbrush behind the ear, I warm the
coffee.
On all fours, in the pale light of the fridge
I scrutinize the feeder by five below
zero.
Then comes the moment when the biscotte
Fuck between the fingers
The time when there are little bits that float
On the surface of the caoua.
I tell you, life is only a slice of bread
Topped with a stron.
Prostrate in the bottom of the kitchen
I have the blues of the duffel.
Blues Blues Blues Pillow blues
Loving it JP,
Great vox and some classy guitar playing,
Well done...
Alex
Classy stuff, JP! I love the way it builds up gradually from the guitar/vocal beginning. This gives me a mental picture of a smoky Parisian nightclub with a band in the corner, dressed in Tuxedos & the singer crooning into one of those big old vintage mics. Superb guitar solo, too! And that hammond organ just bubbling away in the background is a real touch of class! Bravo, sir!
Enjoyed this a lot! Stunning job with the guitar and really well sung!
French blues sounds good to me!
Beautiful, JP.
Je suis fan

What us wrong with everybody
?????has no one seen the Google translation,it's totally off the wall.
No one's mentioned it.
This song had me in a relaxed slumber and I was loving all those textures and lovely laid back backing vocals.
And the guitars superb.
So then I wondered what it was all about and checked the lyrics....Fu*k between the fingers 😲 A hand scraping the mop😨 A breath to kill you an ox🙊🙊🙊🙊 interesting lyrics from Google indeed.
Mate,if those are not the right lyrics they should be,I'm totally on the floor with that google translator you put up.
Amazing.
Merci!
thank you Kenny, Karl, Nick, Alex, Johnny !
I was afraid that this blues in French would please no one
The translation is not easy, especially since there are many words in "slang"
Here are the original words in French :
Assis sur le bord de ma couche
Je quitte le traversin
Pour réintégrer les babouches
Il est déjà matin
Coiffé d'une casquette en plomb
La trogne comme un compteur
Je cherche mes esprits à tatons;
Je m'éveille en douleur
Le pyjama en tire-bouchon
Une flèche dans les reins
Je bougonne et je fais mon grognon
Jusqu'à la salle de bains
Blues blues blues
Polochon blues
Hier soir, quelle ambiance y'avait
La vache, qu'est-ce qu'on s'est mis
Maintenant, sur le bord du bidet
Je continu ma nuit
Blues blues blues
Polochon blues
Voici l'instant où le réveil
Commence à me gagner
Just checked the original ,yours is better.
You are a great player indeed.
I'm with Kenny on this one. Google Translator is deep, man.
Great post as per your usual.

Here is the little message of Ben Smith about the translation of pelechon blues)
Ben is a song writer and multi-instrumentalist living in St Louis USA (I did on SC a cover of his song Rescue https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=26499.0) ... he is also a teacher of French and English in St Louis
QuoteSalut, Jean Pierre,
First of all, it's a good performance. I particularly like the electric guitar. Bravo!
In my opinion, there are only a few spots in the translation where it's difficult to grasp the sense of the French lyrics. Not surprisingly, those issues have to do with slang or figurative language. That said, I think it's a decent translation.
