So... Just got my Micro BR today. And I could wait to mess with it. So recorded something even though I haven't really got a grasp on arranging the drums yet.
It's a little rough as I obviously need practice mixing too.
Haven't played this song in awhile, but oh well. ;)
Yes it is a bit rough and you should loose the metronome (just turn it off before doing the mixing/mastering) but it is a wonderful performance !!! Can't wait 'til you get the hang of the drums and all ... we'll be in for a real treat then !!!
Great first post !!!

All the finer points of rhythm and panning etc will come with time. The main thing is that you're recording! Some really sweet / tight playing here - you just need to press 'rhythm' then 'off' to get rid of the clicking gnome.
I'm a massive fan of this Hall & Oates song - it would be interesting to hear it just done on an acoustic too.
Great start... hope you're hooked :)
Great Playing Loved it lets hear more!!!!
Saijinn,
Thanks, I really really liked this. I'm a Hall and Oates fan and it is a wise man that does the Daryl Hall vocals with an instrument rather than sing them. He's still kicking around, have a look at 'Live from Daryl's place' on the web. I like it most of the time.
Thanks again, lovely song, great take.
If you could lose the bell on the one, I thought metronome was very effective. Nice counterpoint to the emotion of the melody line. You could probably only get away with once, though.
Nice guitar playing - the solo sounded nice over your chording as well - I like your use of different guitar fx!
Once you've figured this little shiney box out, your goin to be posting some really cool stuff!
Thanks for the comments.
I tried turning the drum track off before I mastered, but the MP3 still had it on there. Must of done something wrong.
I'm not much a soloist really. Don't know much about modes and such. I just improvised on each take, hoping it sounded okay.
I'll probably repost this again sometime in the future as I'll probably use this song to learn how to do the drum track and mastering.
Thanks
Great Playing!!! 8)
Without that metronome this would have been a Grade "A" Post"!
You'll get the hang of that box soon, and your posts will be killer!
I still stay away from the Rhythm button because it scares me!
But there are ways around it!
Welcome ;D

Folks is right about the metronome, but what the hell?!
Great job for a first post, much better than what i did for my first recording.
And you mixing sounds to be really cool for a first timer to! :)
Great job!
Yes, good job, lots of potential here. Nice playing and nice sounds. Just keep going so you learn how to master the MBR and your talent will shine!
Cheers,
Nigel
This is your first day with your BR!??!!
Awesome first post, great tone too.
