well.. I am always in phase of learning with Dobro ... not easy to play just in the tone with a frettless instrument >:( ;D
Here is a try with "still got the blues" Gary Moore
Good day dear friends
Yes it's not an easy task. I struggled with mine for a long time and if you don't play it everyday it feels awkward, well to me anyway. You've done a pretty good job here--that lick at around 1:25--cool! Nice tone on the dobro.
Mach
I think you've done a fine job with the dobro here! As Mach said, it's not an easy thing to play. The possibility of not being in tune with every note is always present. You've done great with it and the song!
Farrell
Enjoyed this quite a bit. Never came to grips with any sort of slide, so my hat is off to you.
Really like the sparse instrumentation.
Blooby
Something I have never tried myself I should imagine its not easy,
Having said that this sounds brilliant,
Really well done.......
Alex
I like your interpretation of the classic! Excellent playing with warm and smooth tones!
Pretty good job as said, it is not an easy task to play in slide
A very nice sound, love your interpretation of this classic

A beautifully original take on a song I have a special fondness for. Some gorgeous slide playing... bravo!
Very nice playing, cool post.
Rock On!
Cool slide playing, im getting a bit of hiss on the recording, don't know if it's the device I'm listening on.
Great playing regardless.
thank you all the guys
Kenny Mac:no hiss it seems ...may be the games of battery with brush give this effect?
Yes it is very difficult to play a melody on dobro because of the problem just tone and especially interference during the relaxation of of the steel bar on the string
a great master for the fantastic touch inspired me on you tube:
