Kody. Tony. This. Is. *******! Awesome. Huge fan of this album. I've had it since the day it dropped and have worn it out many times over. I wish your guys' version was on there too. Cool vocals rock out on this song, K. The fretboard dance comes through like a powerhouse, T. Great production here. 5 thumbs up.

You've got a great voice Kody! I think the lead by Witchita sounded great as well! Nice job guys!
Kody, have you ever done any Alice In Chains tunes?
AIC?! Yes!! I do almost all of them lol!
Thanks guys!
This is a dream come true. The "BIG voice" together with the "Master of the 6-string" ;D
I'm in awe!!! A magnificent performance!!!
TJ you impressed me greatly with your Santana-interpretation and this is in the same league!!!!
Kody, excellent as always (but please take one step closer to the mic !!!)

My son and daughter both are really into AIC, so I've been listening to some of there tunes. My son really digs the deep lyrics - and you've got the voice dude!
I told my son that I'd learn a song or three by them (like Again, Down in a Hole, Rooster, etc). Problem is I can't sing like that.....hmmmm maybe we can collaborate some time?
I'd love to surprize both of them on their birthdays with a recording. I know there's a lot of great guitar talent on here as well, but I've got to get in the mix for my kids to appreciate it.
Again, excellent collaboration Kody & Tony!!
Best tune I,ve heard on here for along time vocal and guitar on fire should do it more often best combo on the site ever.
You mean TransAtlantic Dream Team!! ;D Great cooperation, Tony and Kody! This is a song I like a lot, so it was great to hear you guys put it together!
You have an awesome, strong and clear voice that would overpower a 100w amp no problem, Kody :D I agree with G man that it could be kicked up just a smidge, tho'. Tony's prime git was great as usual, too.
Thanks for the post!
Mark
What a song! 2 of my favorite people performing together. This was just awesome. I am almost speechless!!! IN a word WOW!!
This works perfectly. The guitar compliments the vocal really nice. Perfection all around.
Great guys! Sounds incredible!!!
Yes, Kody.. one step closer, pls!
Nice! Well done. it's a keeper fo' sho'
Great Stuff it's great partnership Hope you do more together!
I've got a splitting headache, but when I saw this collaboration I just couldn't keep the earbuds from my ears. I'm so glad I listened to it. Do you mind if I put a copy in my "favorites" on my ipod?
When you hook up guitar and vocal talent like this, it's obvious you're going to end up with something very special. In a word... WOW!!!!!!
Solid guys. So solid. I second the request for some Alice In Chains. My favourite band and I can't play a note by them.
Great job guys, really glad to see you two collaborating. This just sounds so right. Can you do the same on Tony's recent original - that would be soooo cool!
This is very well produced as well.
Cheers,
Nigel
Yeah Kody, let's hear some AIC - you definitely got the voice dude.
Hey Satchwood, I sent you an email yesterday!! I found the addy in your profile....I've got a lot of songs I'm working on at the moment, but I'd love to cover some Chains with ya....

I have a hard time believing that this isn't the original! And I know better! This is dead on! Maybe, it's even better than the original!
Superaltives are quite worthless when you are presented with work of this quality. Most language is over used these days - Awesome, Brilliant, Stunning, Amazing, and when something truly outstanding comes along, all the words that could have been used to add colour and depth to the things that you want to say have been wasted.
I have listened to this over and over. It's near perfect. My only criticism is that the vocal is too low in the mix. If this was fixed, this track would be perfect.
I really appreciated what goes into something of this quality, both in the playing and singing and in the production of the track. It is something that we all should strive for.
I have nothing else to say.

I often find myself in the same predicament. Well put. I guess it's the thought that counts, er something. I guess in this case, the word "speechless" comes to mind too.
Kody, you remember "Days of the New"? I hear
Shelf in the Room somewhere down the road. I can hear it now. You'd do this one perfect.

i had just recorded a version of "Ride On" ...2 acoustic tracks...1 bass track and a track from the Korg to send to Andrew so he could add that great voice of his.when i listened to it on the PC there was some background hiss but it was ok. then i read this comment from Flash. i deleted the file and started again from scratch. now there is no hiss and i think i made a better go all round this time.i have sent it to AC feeling i have done a much better job of things.
Many Thanks Mike F
i think this is the longest thing i have ever typed.

QuoteKody, you remember "Days of the New"? They about KO'd themselves when the singer became self-afflicted with a plethora of addictions. They should hire you. I hear Shelf in the Room somewhere down the road.
MBrew....about 5 or so years ago some friends of mine and I recorded a cover of that song and entered it into Days of the New cover contest! We never heard anything back. That was in my bad days....I remember being way more interested in the 40oz. I was drinking than the vocal track I was recording...We also covered Touch Peel and Stand pretty darn good when we played live....I've been a Days of the New fan since they cut their first album....Travis Meeks is one talented mo fo....I was just taliking to my friend about redoing that song though....he lives a ways away with no way of recording, but I'd love to get it done some how...Thanks for the vote of confidence!!

Anytime, man. I about wore those albums out. Would love to hear it sometime.
How did I miss this?
Just fantastic...and I have the added bonus of not having to watch Kenny Wayne Shepherd toss his blocks locks back every time he hits a high note.
Fantastic.
