This is a track that Kenny suggested & I jumped at it. Thin Lizzy's Live & Dangerous was one of the cassettes I had in my student bedsit back in the '80s and I played it to death on my old Binatone ghetto blaster, so working on this brought back some great memories.
I put the backer together in Cakewalk & played my tele on this as it's better for that Eb tuning – more stable than the Les Paul when tuned down. I then sent it to Kenny & he added his guitar parts using a Les Paul & a Michael Kelly guitar for the solo, and did the final mix. Speaking of solos, Kenny takes the 1st one & it's me doing the 2nd one at the end. Kenny's guitar is in the right hand channel & I'm in the left.
Thanks for listening :)

Excellent!
My favourite Lizzy track was on the old juke-box in my local pub back in my teens - the older folks had to endure it being played endlessly...So how about it you two? "The Rocker" !

Cheers guys... can't rule it out! Although Kenny & I have another 70s classic in the pipeline at the moment. Without giving too much away, think "Fabulous Vagrant" or "Excellent Hobo" ;) ;)

This is just wonderful. I was - and am - a huge Lizzy fan. Saw them at Wembley mid seventies. I think it was still called the Empire Pool then. A great rocking version.
