This one was a toughey - mind you, we had fun doing this :-)
The chords on the guitar are almost impossible to shape without choking, I watched a vid of Andy Summers playing it and you have to constantly move you hand, almost a slow motion sweep picking technique, fascinating!!! Mazz (for you who don't know is my daughter - who I co-hersed into singing this, as it was way too high for me, or Ashley - and even for Mazz - hence the rapping in the middle, boy that is high!)
The song structure is not regular either, so I played each of the guitar bits and then pieced them together on the 1600, played everything else straight (a few drop ins on the bass, as it kept doing the unexpected!!!!) - helps hone my editing skills at least :-)

Ah nice one Bruno and Mazz, this one's on my to do list too!
I saw a show on TV which said this was in the top 3 highest earning songs of all time. It said Andy Summers is pissed off because he got no writers credit and gets nothing for it, despite his riff carrying the song.
Nice job Bruno and Mazz. Great sound you've got there and valiant effort with the picking.

That seems to be true for pretty much every Police song, turns out!
Nice one Mazz and Bruno...
Great cover, and not an easy song to do.
well done to you both....
Alex

You two really work well together.
The track is very impressive as well
Well done to you both,I wish I could get my girls next to a mic but there's no chance of that :'(
Oh well done you two, if ever a number could sieze a guitarists hands up, it is this one so hats off for that. I never tire of listening to this song so thank you. Willie
Very nice guys, I do love to hear Mazz sing..and Ashley. Next time we need a song for all of us! This is a bear of song to play faithfully, I drop it to G and it's like a huge brain capo. This could be the "Sweet Derams" of this fest, I'm editing a video of me looping it out today. Really do love this cover guys, well done.
Rock On!

Have you tried it on the uke ORH, everything's easier with a uke.
Wow!!!! Mazz & Bruno a great version this song
Love your rap bit in the middle -it works a treat 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
The bar is really being set high now -music wise-
Congrats to you both.
Tommy
Very nice !!!
Well done Bruno and Mazz
yeah that bugger ain't easy to play .... sounds so simple, but it's not !!
stupendous!
Just holding the riff together all the way through is a triumph!
Really liked this.
Nicely done and a very hard song to perform. You bring it together very well. Good use of the 1600.
The "Come on Barbie, let's go party" bits were a surprise :D
Nice lead vocals too, would've loved to hear Mazz let loose in "my poor heart aches", but maybe I'm being too stereotypical :o
Cool 8)
Great job of pulling off that twisty progression of guitar chords! A very clean and tightly played production.
I'm digging the rap. It adds a new dimension. Mazz seems to get more into it as the song goes on. Nice work.
Is this a stalker song? It seems a little dark from a certain point of view.
Really nice job on a difficult song. I'm curious about the main riff. I will have to try it at some point. It sounds painful to keep up throughout the tune.
Nice job, Mazz. I think it's very cool that the two of you do stuff like this together.
Blooby
I just discovered this... and think you did a great job!
I like everything you did with the song, and it sounds fab :)
