Title: Discrete drums CD for 1200/1600
Post by: bazz-bass on November 14, 2015, 05:40:23 AM
I've got both of theses units and neither came with the CD and with the LP patches blank (presumably seller initialised settings)

Anyone Know of how to obtain a copy

Hi Baz. I got mine from Ebay. I would try there. They do pop up now and again. Mine came from the USA and worked just fine. However I did find them limited and a pain to work with, so I got a Boss DR3 and used a midi cable to connect  the DR3 to the 1200cd. That worked better and you can pick one of them up at a reasonable price on the auction sites, probably for a little more than the cd.

trying looking at beta monkey site (http://www.betamonkeymusic.com/) - I use this almost exclusively with my 1600 - the Discrete drums are good, but you run out of variation in the loops really quickly, betaM are really quite reasonably priced and very well recorded - you can download some samples from the site to have a play with.
