Somekind of traditional bowed string instrument (souvenir) from Asia, I think. But what is the name of instrument and what country?
Real wood, real leather, and hand made. Animal head and other great wood carvings. Playable if I change that "string" . Tuning peg head is unforunatelly broken.

Looks really nice, but I have no idea what it's called !
Can be also from Africa. Google found this: https://www.ebth.com/items/1942455-african-one-string-instrument
It's a Gizmotron. I'd almost-but-not-quite recognize it anywhere!
It looks a bit like a Sarangi, but this one looks more African than Indian.

amazing what you find on eBay ....
Today I finally found it, it is (miniature) GUSLE, bowed string instrument from southeastern Europe/Balkan.
Glad you found it. A quick web search shows it has a bit of history to it, especially to the Serbs. It's cool to find these regional instruments.
