Had this idea for a song, but I think I lost track of what my plan was towards the end.
Was fun doing it, anyway.
:)
Nice playing. I like that you mixed it up a bit at the end. Adds a dimension.
Thank you.
Honestly, I'm not that happy with how it turned out. I don't think the first, shorter bit of lead work or the heavy-ish part at the end fit properly.
I find it incredibly difficult to transform what I hear in my head into a recorded result which sounds remotely the same :)
But it's great fun to try, anyway.
This sounds great Joe !
some really nice guitarwork here and I love the drums !
Yep, I think it sounds good, Joe. We are all our own harshest critics. Drums are great too.
Paul
Nice poprock instrumental! Cool tone on your guitar - you played it well, too! Liked the drum arrangement, as well!
Nice one Joe,
Some good guitar playing here..
Well done.....
Alex
Glad I caught this listen JOE . A MARVELOUS JOB
LOVED THAT WAH EFFECT on the guitar . !! a great
Ballad sound to the whole song. 2 thumbs up and
on this day BUMP and hats off to u sir . cheers NEIL .!
This thing starts slow, but give it a chance, there's a wah-wah surprise inside, and some great drumming. It gets HUGE. I'm on my fourth playthrough right now, and I'm loving the dynamics here. It's, it's... Bloobyesque!
This is the only original song posted the week of 4 July, 2015, and not long after that was the last we ever saw of joedonner2001. (Don't blame me; I was absent from the site.)

Thanks @Ted.
I've actually forgotten about this site - life somehow got in the way of it all.
That was in fact the last song I tried recording. Funnily enough, I just very recently set up Reaper + Amplitube + EZDrummer on my laptop again. Might give it another try at some point - I always have riffs and ideas for songs and all sorts floating around in my head ;D
yeah, I like this... and I suppose it could be like Blooby...
I hope Joe does come back... the guitar riffing is exc... I totally understand some of the frustrations of recording.
Do it if you love doing it... right now, recording is keeping me interested in being alive... that is pretty good motivation.
