wot was i thinking by covering this?
the blue nile did this on later in 1996 but the song is much older.
for guys my age it's a touchstone.
i had intended to do a big production and throw everything including the kitchen sink at this.
however two comedians where heckled in glasgow today.
so i dropped my trousers for a stripped back version.
oh may add i have been drinking.

ORH, you sing with your heart, I can tell by listening you love this song, what a fabulous cover, I'm happy you kept it raw
"backing fucking noise terrorism" that's what laws against terrorism should be fighting against
i do love it daniel. i also love my guid ladies noise terrorism it keeps me grounded, brown i think or is it green and yellow?
green and yellow here, and in my place, the wire must be cut somewhere causing a permanent hum in my amp... The worse being of course really nobody cares... Thanks for bringing up the topic I feel better now...
is this your trustful cheep guitar and mbr, good old way ?
Is my electro acoustic unplugged and litlr to the microbr.
Very successful cover. I must say that I like more your version. Great performance!
Hadn't heard the original before, but I really like your LitLR version. Honest and direct.
Lovely performance ORH although as a guy also of a certain age i don't recall the original but found this a compelling listen.
:)
Very nice performance brother. Listening to this now makes me want to get all of us together & play game of pass the guitar. Tampa seems like a logical place for this to happen so all of you should book your flights and head this way.
Rock on!
This is brill James. Beautiful version. One of my favourite albums of all time.
finally got it down to three chords.
i think they where G, A5 and Am but Am with the third finger off the fretboard. oh and I had a capo on third fret.
