I have been getting to grips with the SparkLe that GAS forced me to buy last month. This is a bit of noodling to a sequence of patterns that I put together pretty simply with the Spark. Noodling was the Roland SH-201
The object of the exercise was to see how the Spark works with a DAW and how the master is produced from the instrument.
Not to everyone's taste I know, but this is a bit of trancey dance.
Harry's Orbit (I quite like a bit of Orbital) All I could think of was 'The X Files'....

I like it tho ..... Both this and science ::) ;D
Quite hypnotic
Quite addictive
Even sounds good in mono .....
Sounds Great, Your exercise worked out brilliantly, well done to you.....Alex
I really, really enjoyed this track, great sounds cross the board, and loved the X-File sounds/nod in particular, awesome.

Great track, Flash. High quality sounds there. I'm bouncing round the living room.
"Nurse! Nurse! He's got out again!"
Really well written and performed instrumental song! Hypnotic as Geir mentioned...
Top class production!!

I'm kinda surprised at how much I am enjoying this!
Rock On!
Thanks Guys,
You've given me an idea for a lyric.....

Trance X-files. I like it.
I got the first generation Arturia BeatStep, and you're inspiring me to pull it out again (after fits of frustration post-purchase).
Very cool post.

p.s.-Did you folks see that Duchovny, Anderson, and Chris Carter have signed on for a mini-series of 8 more episodes of the X-Files?

I wonder if the software has been updated, the Spark and SparkLE are quite new and really very nice and the Arturia soft synths are great

Oh you know she's not !! ;) you know it all right ;D
Loved the X-Files and love this. Synthtastic and tranceful. There's a bit of Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds in that lead synth tone too. Lots of nice variations and detail going on, and the mixing is lush and delicious. Fantastic.
I'm afraid... the X-Files reference is passing me by! :D
Cool track, I'm tapping my toes and getting my thang down...
And while we're talking about Gillian Anderson, I knew her half-sister... she's VERY English Rose... and plays a mean recorder (all sizes)... and she rather LIKED me... *sigh* (unfortunately, she was married to someone else)... I've got some songs about her somewhere...
hand me the ecstasy please... I like where this is taking me!
Wow... This sounds great.
What in the devil is a Spark?
You seem to have a firm grasp of it.
Herbie Hancock meets X-Files meets Trans Europe Express...... on Ecstasy. :)
Addictive groove for sure.
It's the SparkLE - here: http://www.arturia.com/products/drums/sparkle
Cool sounds defo X files influence, would fit right in on that new series.
OLIVER...(Back4More)

HI Harry had to take a 2nd listen and well worth a 2nd bump
loved the techno sound toward the end especially at about
3.15 all in all this is one of your best instrumentals in my opinion
thus far a big congrats keep sharing and rockin NEIL .!
6 years down the line and still as goox as ever.... Well done my friend... Alex
Digging the vibe of this, both driven but kinda chill. I like the X-Files nod, but glad it's still it's own thing!
this is so addictive...this would make a good track to use at sports events as well...as it is so dang lively...I am chair bouncing...
It's a massive track...and there is always room for another one of these...
this could be used for a hundred things...even a commercial... this is like a modern techno Alan Parsons thing...and I love that guy's music
if thiis is excercise or a warm up, what do you do for a routine?
