Started this about a month or so ago, but only got around to recording the vocal and drums this weekend, so a little late for the Fest.
Loved this song the first time I heard it, and it is well worth checking out the original below as it doesn't have too many comments and is a stroke of genius by Jim in my opinion!

As a slight nod to the original, one of the rhythm tracks was played on my daughters very expensive 30 quid pink acoustic guitar ;)
Wow! I'm at a loss for words. I absolutely love this. You turned my wee thumbstrummer into a proper song.
And Sasha you are on fire, no three bad yersel Andy. You have made an auld diva very happy.
wow ,
Absolutely stunning!
Fantastic vocals Sasha! And the music is fabulously performed, I dig the nod to the original!
Well done TW!
This is something. It's new and yet familiar. Great job.

WoW This is fantastic, what a sound , well done.......Alex
Sounds excellent what a great vocal ....
I don't know how I missed the original, but I'm going to catch up with it after hearing this belter of a tribute. I love how this has the orh guitar sound (one that I admire very much) nailed to a "t", and Sasha's vocals are a cherry on the top.
Beautifully done - a great tribute to a truly great Songcrafter!
I loved recording this!! Thank you, Jim it made my voice sound wonderful!! Please write me some lyrics to sing!!! Love the melancholy beauty of your track (and you gotta love the Scottish twinge in it...!) and although we bumped it up a bit and my Essex accent is not as beautiful, the lyrics are amazing. Truly genius!
Sasha xx
Sasha I,d love to write you some lyrics. If you and Andrew have a tune needing a lyric, fire it at me.
Wonderful! Will talk with the master musician! X
Oh my word, beautifiully rounded and full. Vocals are super and well supported by the arrangement, I love the backed-off position of the drums, they give a real motion and drive.

Well done to Tangled wires for bringing another song by jim to the surface.
The tribute fest should have lasted another month ;D
This is just fantastic cover of Jim's great song! Very ethereal feel on this - love it! Sasha's voice sounds so fine - as always!!
I'm loving the way you play your guitar here, Andrew - you have nice touch on it! Very good tones as well!
Great job, TW!

Yes...
What a great cover! I really admire your work. It sounds so professional and Sasha`s voice is stunning! Reminds Dusty Springfield a lot. Wonderful! And what a great song James had made - again!
OULALA (french word for WOW)
